APPLICATION
Thorough cleansing provides the best conditions for effective exfoliating results. Calming Cleansing Milk and Clarifying Cleansing Foam will remove all makeup, dirt and deposits from the skin. Then apply a hazelnut-sized quantity of Exfoliating Guarana Mousse to your face and gently massage in. Treat your skin by allowing the product to work for a short time before continuing your skincare routine. There is no need to rinse off the refreshing exfoliating foam. At times of intensive light during the year, preferably use Exfoliating Guarana Mousse in the evenings.
Exfoliating Guarana Mousse is so gentle on your skin that you can use it every day. In the case of sensitive to very sensitive skin, however, we recommend only applying the product two to three times a week. Incidentally, Exfoliating Guarana Mousse is also ideally effective on rough patches on the upper arms.

The indigenous peoples of the Amazon region have known about the guarana bush for centuries and it is still used there today as a versatile medicinal plant. Many legends told by the native peoples are associated with the fruit, which resembles an eye when it bursts open to reveal its seed. An evergreen climbing plant, guarana was subsequently cultivated in Brazil, Venezuela and Paraguay so that its caffeinerich seeds could be made into a refreshing drink that also dampens the feeling of hunger. These seeds contain double the amount of caffeine of coffee beans. Guarana found its way into the cosmetics world in the eighties as a means of improving circulation in the skin and leaving it instantly and effectively refreshed. However, guarana also has antioxidant properties and protects the skin against the harmful influences of free radicals.
SALICYLIC ACID (BHA)
Salicylic acid, also known as beta hydroxy acid (BHA), is obtained from essential oils and the leaves, flowers or roots of various plants. It has a gently exfoliating effect and is able to penetrate deep down into the pores to remove deposits and excess sebum from within the sebaceous gland ducts. The visibility of larger sized pores and spots is reduced and minor inflammation is counteracted. Little spots, pigmentation irregularities and small scars are less visible. With regular application, the use of salicylic acid in a 2% concentration in the Exfoliating Guarana Mousse improves the overall appearance of the skin without stressing it.
